I am amazed! The blog train is rolling from pixelscrappers and I actually made something. I taught for a year at the School of Environmental Education down by Houston so Earth Day was near and dear to me. I hope you enjoy my portion and always remember...reduce, reuse, and recycle! I would love to learn more about making hand drawn items look cleaner...smoother...so if you know of somewhere that can help me please let me know! Please use for PU only...I will do better next time on putting all information on the preview.

Sewing...
I am sew not motivated to finish Little 1's curtains... It takes me twice as long as it should to do it "right"! It is so easy, too...just sew some straight lines, but I have already butchered the CARS blue fabric and don't want to make mistakes on the brown (because it was on clearance and that means I can't get any more to "fix" it)...sooooo I guess my great grandmother was right! "Sew on Sunday take out with your nose on Monday" nose? I have no idea what that really means, but I will interpret it as this...go to bed anything you try to sew on Sunday will be a flop...amen!

I made a beautiful and amazingly healthy desert last night...taking a detour from my chocolate addiction..butternut squash with butter, sugar, and cinnamon!! Very easy...plant butternut squash seeds in spring (about April) in Texas water, water, and water some more. When the vine dies in July it is time to pick off the squash. Cut in half and put in oven at 400 degrees for smaller squash about 30 min. Pull out of oven , then spread butter on each of the halves and shake a little cinnamon and sugar mixture over it. I thought it looked like a 5 star restaurant course (you know where they take a plate, place one tomato on it with some basil hanging out looking like a green tongue and call it art) Well, obviously my husband didn't have the same idea...he actually said "I can't eat that- it looks awful"!! I disagree and I have three left to eat in peace, because they are delish!!
